We build software that handles business data, so protecting that data is central to how we work — not an afterthought. This page explains, in plain English, how ThinkSwift approaches security.

1. Our approach

Security is built into how we design, build, and run systems — for ourselves and for our clients. We are currently pursuing ISO 27001 certification, aligning our security practices with a recognised international standard.

2. How we protect data

  • Encryption — data is encrypted in transit and at rest
  • Access controls — role-based permissions mean team members only access the data they need for their work
  • Infrastructure — we build on enterprise-grade cloud providers, including Microsoft Azure, Vercel, and Supabase
  • Reviews — we carry out regular security reviews and vulnerability assessments
  • People — our team is trained on privacy and data-handling obligations

3. How we build

The systems we build for clients get the same discipline: least-privilege access, separate development and production environments, careful handling of credentials and secrets, and dependencies kept up to date.

4. AI and your data

Our AI features — including Penny, our AI digital receptionist — run on established platforms such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google. Personal information processed through these features is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal information.

5. If something goes wrong

No system is 100% secure, and we won’t pretend otherwise. If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will promptly notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), as required under Australia’s Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

6. Reporting a security issue

If you believe you’ve found a vulnerability in our website or systems, please tell us at hello@thinkswift.com.au. We take reports seriously, respond quickly, and appreciate responsible disclosure.
